We’re into the last week we will ever spend in this apartment.  We are moving in 6 days.  That’s 5 sleeps. Truck is arranged.  Friends are booked.  Packing is…  in progress…  Another day or two should do it… I’m SO excited!!!

Fantasy or prophecy??
It occurred to me yesterday that this upcoming weekend was the weekend I used to fantasize that John and I got back together. I bought the tickets to curling to go with someone else, and then at the last minute their plans changed and I would casually offer the ticket to John… We would have such a great time that he would realize he wanted to be with me…  It was very elaborate and...

Men's World Curling Championships
We’re off to Victoria this weekend to watch Brad Jacobs and the rest of team Canada (hopefully) win the Men’s World Curling Championships.  If Scotland won instead, we would also be ok with this…  =)   I think John would have a semi the whole time watching these two teams go at it in the finals…   We’re also going to see GI Joe after the match Saturday night....

Woohoo!!
John just told me that if I can find an old carousel horse that he will in fact make me a bike like the one previously pictured on here!!! I would totally ride that!!

It’s official!  We got the place with the view!!!  I took John in to take a look at it Monday night and we both just stood gazing out at the view for a few minutes… He looked around and said “I think this will serve us well for the next few years…”

New Apartment
So I’ve been out and about looking for our new place.  I think I may have found a winner… It’s smack dab in the middle of where we both live now, so we know the neighbourhood.  The view is STUNNING!!!  It just keeps going and going… And it’s right in our price range… John and I will talk it over tonight.  I’ve made a little floor plan and some furniture...
